PROJECT BRIEF :To make unstructured toy in reference to the topic which is chosen.

TOPIC : Wood and Mechanism

AGE GROUP : 3-5 yrs, Unisex

STUDY :Kids of 3-5 yr old likes to experiment with various types of sound, material feel and surprising elements.They play with all kind of material, any object which interests them becomes toy for them.

They like to create their own sounds.Lot of role playing activities are done, based on the behavior and surroundings of the children.Sometimes they treat animals and objects as their human friends, keep their names, and interact with them as they interact with their other friends.
They like to do things if its in particular motion, or rhythmic pattern  for example:- Tapping.

PROCESS  : After doing research and user study, the final outcome was- kids of this age group are attracted by different types of sound as well as feel of the material, they like to explore things around, and any kind of new leaning becomes surprise for them.
I made basic mockups and experimented with the kids, they were exited to see toppling objects on the surface. Further, paying attention towards ergonomics final product was made. And as the name suggests the body of the toy is bumpy in shape , and  toppling characters create unstructured play.
